Evgenia Medvedeva is a retired Russian figure skater. She is a two-time world champion (2016, 2017), a two-time European champion (2016, 2017), a two-time Grand Prix Final champion (2015, 2016), a two-time Russian national champion (2016, 2017), and a silver medalist in the <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/2018%20Winter%20Olympics">2018 Winter Olympics</a>.
Medvedeva is known for her artistry, skating skills, and consistency. She was the first female skater to break the 80-point barrier in the short program, the 160-point barrier in the free skate, and the 240-point barrier in the total score under the ISU Judging System. She holds several world records.
After a long and successful career under coach Eteri Tutberidze, Medvedeva relocated to Canada in 2018 to train with <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Brian%20Orser">Brian Orser</a>. She retired from competitive figure skating in 2020 due to a back injury. Since her retirement, she has been involved in various ice shows and other projects.
